R 3 = Elbow Center

OD = Elbow outside diameter

90° एल्बो  बाहर साइड घुमाओ डायमेंशन  फार्मूला

tan( 1 ) × ( R 3 + ½ OD ) × 90° =  Arc Length outside dimension

 

90° एल्बो अंदर साइड  घुमाओ डायमेंशन  फार्मूला

tan( 1 ) × ( R 3 – ½ OD ) × 90°  =  Arc length inside dimension 

90° एल्बो  मिडिल साइड घुमाओ डायमेंशन फार्मूला

tan( 1 ) × ( R 3 )  × 90° =   Arc length middle dimension 

10 inch elbow OD 273 mm

273 ÷ 2 = 136.5

Example 10″ elbow  90° degree

tan( 1 ) × ( 381 + 136.5 ) × 90 = 812.9 mm   Arc Length outside dimension

tan( 1 ) × ( 381 – 136.5 ) × 90 = 384 mm   Arc length inside dimension

tan( 1 ) × ( 381 ) × 90 = 598.5 mm  Arc length middle dimension

tan( 1 ) × ( 381 + 136.5 ) × 40 = 361.3 mm Arc Length outside dimension

tan( 1 ) × ( 381 – 136.5 ) × 40 = 170 mm Arc length inside dimension

tan( 1 ) × ( 381 ) × 40 = 266 mm Arc length middle dimension


90° degree Elbow center formula R 3

Pipe inch × 38.1 = R 3  90° degree

Any degree elbow center formula 

tan( ½ degree ) × 1.5 * 25.4 = elbow center formula

Example 40° elbow center formula

40° ÷ 2 = 20°

tan( 20 ) × 1.5 × 25.4 = 13.8   40° degree elbow center formula

Pipe inch × 13.8 = 40° elbow center 

Example 10″ pipe

10 × 13.8 = 138 mm  40° elbow center
